According to Isabella:  This is a dairy horse.  Why?  A dairy cow is white with black spots, therefore this horse is a dairy horse.

According to Isaac: We are eating Ice Cream Mondays.  It can't be ice cream sundaes if today is Monday!

Bella:  Isaac, I am going to marry you.
Me: Bella, you can't marry your brother.
Bella: But, he is the only boy I love.
Isaac: It is okay Bella, we'll just live together.

Bella:  I am not going to have a job when I get older.
Me:  Why?
Bella:  I am going to be a mermaid. What do mermaids eat?
Isaac:  They eat seafood Bella.
Bella: What is seafood?
Isaac: It is fish, shrimp, and lobsters.
Bella: Do they make waterproof cameras?
Me: Yes.
Bella:  I need one to take pictures of the dolphins when I am a mermaid.  I am going to take care of all the little fish and dolphins.
Me:  Bella, mermaids are not real.
Bella: Oh.
Isaac: It is okay Bella.  You can be what ever you want to be.

The Wisdom of Isabella

Isabella likes to watch Sid the Science Kid on PBS. We were discussing the show and I was asking her questions about it.

I said, "Isabella, is Sid the Science Kid a good kid?"

Isabella replies, "No, he's not a good kid he's a boy."


On another note Isabella told me "Boys are a little different!" Such wisdom for an almost three year old!
