Summer Fun at the Creek

Isaac and Isabella have made a new discovery at the farm . . . the creek!  They have a blast throwing rocks, building dams, and just splashing around.  However, we need to find a different location in the creek to go to.  I think this was the last time we can walk through the corn field.  It is a little difficult to find where you are going when the corn is over my head.

I told Isaac and Bella that Aunt Wanda and I would take our baby dolls and their little bath tubs and float them down the creek as kids.  The two of us would spend hours down there as little girls!

First Splash of Summer

I am a little behind on my posts, these photos are back from a very warm day in May.  The little ones wanted to get out the water slide, but they finally settled on a five gallon bucket of water and their water blasters. Yes, we had to fill up the bucket many times. The neighbor boy, Zach, came in and joined in on the fun, too.  He just peeled off his shoes and shirt and started splashing.   His sister, Addison, was a little late. She finally came out when we were cleaning up to go eat dinner.
Run Isaac!

Isabella, your aim is a little off!
I got you Isaac!

Don't get me Isaac!

Our Preschool Graduate

Where did the last five years go?  Our little boy graduated from preschool and is now ready for kindergarten.  The question is kindergarten ready for Isaac?

Isabella's Preschool Celebration

Isabella celebrated her year at preschool back in mid May. (I am a little behind on posts.)  Each class sang or performed to a few action songs.  Of course there were a lot of waves to parents and family in the crowd.

Mother's Day Gifts

I have one little one that thinks that I am 55 years old, and the other one couldn't decide between 14 or 15 years old.  Isabella said she made a really good guess on my age.  I asked her how old she thought  her dad was and she thought 56.  At least Matt is still older than me.  Isaac also thought I only weighed 15 pounds.  His response when I questioned him, was that he hadn't seen me step on the scale for awhile.

They both did a great job with the shopping response.  However, I questioned Isabella about the TV answer, since I very rarely watch TV while they are ever awake.  She told me that she really likes to watch TV.

Flying High

Finally, a nice spring day!  The little ones enjoyed some time in the afternoon flying their kites.

Isaac got the hang of flying his kite before Isabella did.
It is finally getting off the ground.
Look how high it is flying!
Isaac's Blue Angel
Finally, both are flying high at the same time!
Stay up there!
The Barbie kite was renamed the Pink Sting Ray by Bella.
Sky High!
Isabella complained that Isaac was always taking
all the wind and never leaving her any to fly her kite.
In the video Isaac has the flying kite business down.  However, check out Isabella.  She is the one being a grumpy pants since she can't keep her kite in the air.

First Spring Soccer Game

Isaac had his first spring soccer game today.  It was a hoot with sixteen four and five years old on the field at one time.  They usually were all in one big herd trying to see who could kick the ball first.  Good thing they all have to wear shin guards!
