Isaac and Isabella having been doing a lot firsts this summer. I was brave and bought them scissors to practice cutting. They have been doing very well for the exception of Isabella who cut a hole in my shirt. Did I say it was a BRAND new shirt. Good thing I am talented in the sewing area and the cut was toward the left bottom seam. Life lesson Isabella learned was never cut clothes only paper and play dough.
The other day we bought water colors. They were both delighted at this new purchase. We had done some Q-Tip painting at story hour earlier this summer and they LOVED it. Isaac decided he would paint shirtless. Isabella decided to be Mommy and wear an old t-shirt I painted the house in. They both took inspiration from the Fourth of July Fireworks and decided that would be their focus for this first monumental painting.
