What a wonderful duck pond prize at the recent church picnic.
Isaac modeling this wonderful old hat of mine.
My mother has been cleaning upstairs in closets where her children have all of these valuable treasurers from the past. She had a nice pile for me, all stacked up in the upstairs hallway to take home with me. There was everything from a report on Georgia I wrote in sixth grade, souvenirs when I went to Washington D.C. in high school, a folder of old Valentine cards from in elementary school, and of course this lovely Moor Mans hat that I owned as a child.
Isaac LOVED the hat.
He first said, "Look there's a cherry on top!"
He then decided it would be his mouse hat. I am not for sure why, but he makes a lot of squeaking noise when he wears it. Mice it seems he likes a great deal. I can barely stand to look at them when I take the kids to Pet Co. I look for a second and then have to turn away. They just freak me out. Isaac on the hand finds them the most enjoyable animal to look at in the entire store!
