Trick or Treating

Isaac and Isabella enjoyed going Trick or Treating Saturday night. They were very excited to go Trick or Treating in the dark with their flashlights and glow sticks! It was MUCH warmer than Friday night going downtown. As you can see we didn't have to wear the gloves and winter jackets.

My Birthday

Yes, it is true I turned the big 40. Do I feel older? NO! Here are a few pictures of the little ones and me.

Train Ride

On the morning of July 4th we got together with the Wienck side of the family for a little train ride. We rode the Central Branch Railroad train from Blue Rapids to slightly past the Blue River. Everyone loved it. The train ride took us over the Blue River 85 feet in the air. The train then stopped in the middle of the river bridge for the children to throw rocks over. We were a little worried about Isabella, since she didn't really like the spillway. However, she proved us wrong!

Fourth of July

We celebrated the Fourth in the little town of Randolph with the Wienck side of the family! This was one of Isaac's and Isabella's favorite fireworks. They called it Falling Rain.

Isabella enjoyed some homemade ice cream to help celebrate!
