Our New Bikes

Isaac and Isabella got their first new big kids bikes this weekend. Even though it was cold outside they couldn't help but enjoy their new set of wheels!

What Happened to Jesus?

How the crucifix is suppose to look.

Just the cross.

Jesus not attached to the cross.

I need some crazy glue.

Grandma and Grandpa Wilber watched Isaac and Isabella on Monday. Some time during the day they were playing church. Some how Jesus fell off the crucifix that they were playing with. Matt questioned them about what happened.
Matt: Isabella and Isaac what happened to Jesus?
Isaac: He died on the cross to save us.
Isabella: So he could watch us.
Matt: I was wondering how he got broken off the cross?
Isaac: It is almost Easter dad.
Matt: I think Father John would REALLY like those answers.

First Day Of Spring

Isaac helping with the clean up on the pickup.

Isabella seeing how deep the drifts really were.

Last Saturday was the first day of spring, but Mother Nature played a terrible joke on us. Instead of running and playing on a beautiful spring like day the little monkeys were bundled up and playing in the snow! It was SO cold that we debated even letting them go out, but I hoped it would be the last snow until the winter.

Creating with Lincoln Logs, Again

Isaac has not put the Lincoln Logs down since he received them for Christmas. Everyday he is creating some new shed or home. After church today Isaac and Isabella created a farm, of course. Isabella had to make a pen for her animals.

Isaac's implement shed.

Isaac's farm house and shed. Notice the innovative wind power used to power his farm.

Isabella's exotic animal farm. Notice the giraffe, elephant, and zebra.

A Spring Like Day

Spring flowers starting to show themselves.

Isabella trying to play her version of croquet.

It just doesn't work like she wants sometimes.

It was SO bright Isaac got out the sunglasses.

One of the MANY roads Isaac created with his new sidewalk chalk.

Isaac creating.

Isabella trying out all the new colors.

We have enough sidewalk chalk to last us all spring and summer,
we think!
