Isabella and Isaac are getting prepared for Christmas.  Isabella has been cutting from the toy magazines from Wal-mart and Target.  She has been cutting out ALL the things she wants.  Of course, she does cut out things that she thinks Isaac might like and some of her cousins, too.  Isaac is making his list, however I keep saying they don't make those type of toys (These are usually some type of implement.).  He just tells me that it is okay, because Santa's elves can make anything! (I think I am in trouble!)

They also have been discussing in great detail what time they will wake up on Christmas morning, and how they will just run down the stairs and start opening their presents!  Oh the joys of being young!

Halloween

Halloween pictures this year may have resemblance of the past.  Isabella decided that she wanted to be a giraffe again this year.  Which was fine with me, since I did spend a great deal of time making her costume last year, and after this year it will probably not fit her.  She once again made a darling giraffe, however she was disappointed that she didn't have a long neck.  Isaac did dress up as a farmer for preschool, again this year.  However, when it came time to trick or treat he put on his fireman costume from when he was two, back then we rolled up the sleeves.  He made a handsome little firefighter.  It was totally acceptable to be a firefighter since Uncle John is a farmer and a firefighter.

Isaac Being Silly

Isaac was showing off some cat eye glasses and being a silly thing!

Flat Allison Visits the Wilber's

Cousin Flat Allison visited us for a couple of weeks.  Her class was doing the Flat Stanley Project, which my class also does every fall.

Disguising the Turkey

Isabella had a homework assignment from preschool to disguise her turkey so it wouldn't be eaten for Thanksgiving.  She decided to disguise him as a peacock.  (I think she is still really jealous that Isaac picked a peacock at Build a Bear this summer and she decided on a rhino.)  It took her awhile put she got all the feathers cut out after I had traced them for her.
