The Park

We visited the park last week in Wamego. I took my new camera to play around with the settings and functions. There are way too many settings to figure them all out, but I am getting the hang of it.

Splashing Around

Isabella tormenting her brother!

Isaac getting some height on his jumps!

It Just doesn't Stop Raining

We had another couple inches of rain this afternoon. Since the weekend we have had around 8 inches of rain at least. In some parts of Wamego it was recorded at least 6 inches of rain just yesterday. It actually cleared off this evening into a beautiful night.

At least Isaac and Isabella had fun in the puddles that were still standing! As you can see they were pretending that there was a flood in their lake, which Isaac named Stonington Lake.

Andrew & Heather's Wedding

Isaac Getting Down With Cousin Laura

Isabella Dancing With Daddy

The Happy Couple

Andrew and Laura

Cousin Jacob and Isabella
The first nephew on Matt's side of the family was married over the weekend in Mankato. It was a beautiful wedding, and a fun Hawaiian theme reception and party afterwards. Isaac and Isabella loved the dance the best of all, of course.

First Trip to the Pool 2010

Today we made our first trip to the city pool. Isaac jumped in first thing. Isabella was very timid and didn't want to get out of the shallow water or far away from the side of the pool at first. However, she started to warm up a little by the time it was to go home. Good thing, because I bought a family pool pass for the summer.

The Carousal

We went to Topeka this week to do a little shopping. I took the little monkeys to Gage Park to ride on the train, but the train wasn't running. The schedule on the window and the Internet both said they should have been open, but to the disappointment of all they were not. We did ride on the carousal in the park. Even Isaac rode which was a first. He usually gives me the line the carousal is just for Isabella. I would have to say he was the one that might have enjoyed this carousal ride the most! Go figure!
