One of my summer projects was to get the play set stained. Finally, I have this checked off my list. Isaac of course wanted to be a big help and with the power washing. He did a pretty good job. As you can see from the photos he was into the task with his rubber boots on, protective eye wear, and of course his work gloves. We did let Isabella and Isaac help stain the first day, but sometimes too much help is TOO much. I then changed my staining time to 6:00AM. Isaac and Isabella came out and ate breakfast on the deck while I worked. This was a much better set up for all.
All that is left to do is to reattach the slide and all the yellow handles on the various parts of the clubhouse. Lets hope this last for a couple of years, because it literally took more time to stain the play set than to stain the deck last summer. I do have to say that we now have the best looking play set in the neighborhood!
